TOW The Reunion
By Betsy @  butsy01@hotmail.com

These characters aren't mine. These characters belong to Marta Kauffman, David Crane, and, Kevin Bright. This was written for entertainment only.

Recap: It's been a while since everyone has seen each other. Too long actually. Only a few people have kept contact. Everyone left on good terms. It was just time for everyone to move on. Monica and Ross to move to California. Monica hated to leave but got a great job offer there of head chef and caterer. She promised to call Chandler everyday and write him. Chandler is forced to stay in NY because of his contract with his job. A contract to last because of privacy and data involved. (I know he's just a data processor but all those numbers he puts in are very important with the government. [??] Ex. Census stuff or taxes. Hey it could happen.) They had plans of as soon as Chandler can go; he will go to California with Monica. Carol and Susan simultaneously decide to move to California because a lot of Susan's family lives there. Ross moves with them, unwilling to be away from his sister and child for that long. After a few months of the long-distance relationship things begin to fall apart. They try to work things out but both think its better for each to go on with their lives. Chandler is torn by his breakup and can't stand to stay in the city any longer. He hates to see the apartment where he and Monica shared so much. He moved to the outskirts where he has to commute 45 minutes to work every day. Rachel moved with him because after Monica moved away they became very close. Best friends even. Joey finally decides not to be an actor but instead decides to start filmmaking. He stays in NY. As for Phoebe, her permanent home is now Rhode Island where she lives happily with two little boys and her "submarine man" who ironically is no longer a "submarine man". He lives there permanently and works as a kindergarten teacher. Ok and this is four years later. And on with the story.

Warning: When I wrote this I was in a very romantic mood. Some may call it mushy but personally I love them that way. Just be forewarned.

Scene: Chandler and Rachel's apartment.

(They are sitting on the couch holding hands (hh.lol) Oh I'm sorry, Did I forget to mention they are together now.heheheJDon't worry, it's not too serious, just a few weeks)

Chandler: So what would you like to do today?

Rachel: Hmmm.let's go on a road trip!

Chandler: A road trip? Are you serious?

Rachel: Come on honey! It will be fun.

Chandler: So you want to just get in the car and drive?

Rachel: Yeah, Maybe we'll see someone we know.

(Both look at each other and die laughing.)

Chandler: Seriously now. What do you want to do?

Rachel: Why don't we plan your birthday.

Chandler: We don't have to do anything special.

Rachel: Aww come on! Mr. Thirty-four. It's in two weeks! Let's do something crazy!

Chandler: (sarcastically) Yeah let's go to go clubbin' and then invite all our friends over and smoke some weed!

Rachel: On my God! That's perfect!

Chandler: What?!?! I was only kidding Rach.

Rachel: No. I mean the invite our friends over! Let's have a reunion! (Starts getting really excited,) We can invite Joey, and Phoebe and she can bring her family, and all her little kids and Monica and Ross and everyone!

Chandler: (A pained expression crosses his face as she mentions Monica. It has been hard for Chandler. He can't seem to get on with his life. Rachel notices his face. He tries very hard to smile.) Don't you think everyone will be too busy? I mean really we shouldn't worry about it. Let's just do something with Austin and Lauren. (Presumably their next door neighbors.)

Rachel: (understands that he's really saying that he couldn't bear to see Monica, especially while Rachel was there. She kinda takes this personally and gets offended.I mean after-all, she is his girlfriend.) I mean I understand. We don't have to. It would be nice but whatever. (Walks to her room visibly upset.)

Chandler: (kindly and as if he was speaking to a child) Rachel.

Rachel: No I'm ok. I understand perfectly. (Closes the door,)

(Chandler leans back on the couch with his hands over his face. Unsure of what to do. He knew why she was mad. She had every right to be. Slowly he stands and walks to the door opens it and goes in slowly.)

Chandler: Honey.I'm sorry.

Rachel: This is all crazy you know that right?

Chandler: (completely confused) What is?!

Rachel: I mean this whole relationship. This isn't a relationship beyond a friendship and you know it. This is hurts so bad for both of us and it's obvious why, It's all fake, bullshit, nothing more than just me comforting you in a time of need. You see what's happening don't you. You're trying to replace Monica with me and failing because you know no one will ever replace
her.

Chandler: (Knows exactly what she's talking about. Looks down.) I'm so sorry Rach.

Rachel: (starting to get teary) She's too important to you for you to be with anyone else. It's my fault really.I mean I'm the one who kissed you first and.

Chandler: (cuts her off and places his hands on her cheeks and wipes the tears from her face with his thumbs.) No! This isn't at all your fault. It's me. I loved that kiss. I just am afraid I wasn't ready for it. I'm sorry Rach, I just tried too hard to start again. I really do care for you a lot Rachel.I'm just so sorry. I've hurt you, I have just been so confused lately and you've been here for me throughout. Thank you.

(She places her head on his shoulder and they hug for a few minutes.)

Rachel: (Wiping tears from her eyes and smiling) So about that birthday? You want to call or should I?

Chandler: No it's really ok Rachel. We don't have to call anyone.

Rachel: Nope, no way. I'm calling them. It'll be good for you to see everyone (by everyone she means Monica) again.

Chandler: No Rach.

Rachel: (Beat) well at least let me call Joey and Phoebe.

Chandler: Ok ok. That's fine.

(Approximately two weeks later, the same house. It's decorated with balloons and a birthday banner that says "Happy 34th Birthday" Many people are there. Rachel, Chandler, Phoebe, her husband, Austin. Lauren, and other couples from the neighborhood. It's nighttime and everyone is on the back deck. Chandler and Joey are catching up sitting beside the keg on the porch,)

Joey: (in the middle of a conversation) And then I was like, "where's that damn radio!"** All the people watched it found it very funny. Maybe I should go into acting again!

Chandler: (laughing) Yeah but remember how that industry is.you might want to keep your day job. So have you talked to anyone lately?

Joey: Well yesterday Ross called me. His friend wanted an audition for the movie I'm starting to work on. He and his friend were going to come to NY today and meet me but I told him I wasn't going to be home.

Chandler: (kinda worried but not letting it show) Did you tell him where you were going to be?

Joey: Yep! (Thinking nothing of it) Well I need a refill.you?

Chandler: (now very worried and not really listening) Umm yeah.whatever.

Joey: Ok! (Snatches his cup snapping Chandler out of his daze)

(Chandler looks at his hand where his cup was once and confused but then understood. Phoebe walks up to him.)

Phoebe: Hi!

Chandler: Hey! Do you hear the doorbell ringing?

Phoebe: Yeah it's constant for me.

Chandler: (confused) Oh ok.

(A familiar face appears at the fence. Shocked Chandler stands and runs to the fence.)

Chandler: Ross! Great to see you man! (Pulls him into a hug but keeps his eyes behind Ross expecting Monica to appear)

Ross: Hey buddy! How are things?

Chandler: Oh they've been interesting, How about you?

Ross: Same here!

(Joey, Rachel, and Phoebe come up excitedly and everyone says their hellos, hug and kiss etc.)

Chandler: Wow this is great.

Ross: And here's a birthday present for you, (Hands him a bag. In it is very expensive wine and also a Polo shirt.)

Chandler: Thanks man!

(About an hour later Chandler and Ross are on the porch talking)

Ross: So Monica says hello.(Chandler looks down) Hey come on, one of us had to mention her.

Chandler: Yeah I know. Where is Monica anyway.why didn't she come with you?

Ross: Well.(not wanting to lie to his friend) Well she did come actually.

Chandler: Oh.

Ross: She's at the hotel. She would of came with me but.

Chandler: But what? She didn't want to see me.

Ross: Well she said she couldn't bear to see you with Rachel. Congratulations by the way.

Chandler: Umm.thanks but we aren't dating anymore. (Ross looks confused) I was being selfish. I was trying to replace Monica but that would never work. I realized I couldn't replace her and I wasn't ready to move on yet, So what about her? Is she married with kids yet?

Ross: Nope. Not at all actually. I think you are both in the same place. She goes out on dates but none ever work out.

Chandler: Oh ok. (Sits in silence thinking for a while) Ross, what hotel did you say Monica was in?

Ross: (Smiling, hands Chandler a card, (the key to the room)) The Fairfield Inn.

Chandler: I'll be back in a few minutes, (Ross smiles as he runs over to Rachel) Rachel, Ross just told me Monica was here but in a hotel and.

Rachel: (cutting him off) Go. Go get her and bring her back here.

Chandler: (Smiles) Thanks Rach. (Hugs her)

(Rach smiles and goes over to Ross. Chandler hops in his 2003 X-terra and drives into the city. About an hour later he hops out of his car and tosses the Valet man his keys. In a hurry he rushes up to room 350. Outside the door Chandler just stands there excited yet confused. He knocks on the door and then places the key and opens the door. As he opens the door he  spots Monica with her back to him painting her toenails.)

Monica: Ross? Is that you?

(Unsure of what to do a very confused Chandler doesn't say anything. He just stares at her. Kind of worried because of the no response Monica turns around. Shocked Monica drops her fingernail polish and stands abruptly.)

Monica: Chandler? (Chandler doesn't say anything. He just walks up to her and grabs her hand with one of his and with the other sweeps hair away from her face staring into her eyes, In the background Pearl Jam starts to play.  The song, "Elderly Woman behind the Counter in a Small Town" Not the whole song, Here are the lyrics:

".I swear I recognize your breath Memories like fingerprints are slowly raising Me, you wouldn't recall, for I'm not my former It's hard when; you're stuck upon the shelf I changed by not changing at all; small town predicts my fate Perhaps that's what no one wants to see I just want to scream...hello... Oh, My God its been too long, never dreamed you'd return But now here you are, and here I am Hearts and thoughts they fade...away...")

Chandler: (tears in his eyes.aww) I've missed you sooo much. (He leans in where their faces are almost touching. She closes her eyes as a tear rolls down her cheek. He sweeps his lips against hers and brings his other hand and finds hers and grabs it. They kiss again, this time very deep and involved. Chandler wraps his arms around her waist and hers go around his
neck.)

Monica: (completely shocked from the wonderful kiss) I've missed you too, (Snapping back into reality she breaks from Chandler's grip and sits on the bed, looking down.) But.what about Rachel?

Chandler: (goes to her and sits beside her and grabs her right hand with his left.) Monica, that was a mistake.

Monica: (confused) What?

Chandler: Rachel and me. That was me trying to replace you. And after about a week I realized she or anyone else could EVER replace you.

Monica: (smiling through her tears, jokingly) It took you a week?

Chandler: I think I knew all along but I hid it from myself. (Leans in to Monica and kisses her, she holds him, and un-tucks his shirt as the passion  in the kiss rises. She places her cold hands on his bare back, which makes him jump back.) Wow those are cold hands.(smiling they continue.)

Chandler: (breaking from the kiss) You want to go to my house? Everyone's there.

Monica: (kinda surprised b/c she was expecting something more to happen) Ok. Let's go, that'll be fun.

Chandler: Why don't you check out of this place. Me and Rachel have plenty of room at our house.

Monica: Are you sure because it's no big deal.

Chandler: Monica, I haven't seen you in four years. Please stay with me.

Monica: Ok, I'd love to. (They share another kiss)

Chandler: Ok let's go!

(Meanwhile back at Chandler's-everyone except the gang has left and Phoebe's husband had to fly back to Rhode Island because one of their kids had gotten a cold. It wasn't serious so Phoebe stayed with her friends.)

Ross: (talking to Phoebe, Rachel, and Joey) I wonder what's taking Chandler so long?

Joey: (same old Joey) Oh! I bet I know! (Joey does his dirty smile as Rachel slightly winces although she knows that that is whom Chandler should be with, no one notices her though)

Ross/Phoebe: Eww.Joey!

Joey: What? It was just a guess. (Smiles innocently)

Chandler: (just walks up with Monica) Hey everyone. Look who I found!

(Everyone except Ross and Chandler rush to Monica hugging her and saying hey. The whole gang decides to go walk out to the garden about a half a mile and sit and catch up on old times. Rachel and Phoebe lead the way, Ross and Joey behind them, and in the very back Chandler and Monica. As they are walking and all talking Chandler grabs Monica's hand but no one else  can see. She looks down at her hand as he does this and then looks up at him with an approving smile. They arrive to the beautiful garden and all go sit in the gazebo. Rachel sits on the end with Chandler beside her, Monica beside him, then Ross, and then, Joey and then Phoebe.)

Chandler: So Joey I saw your movie the other day. Great job man.

Phoebe/Monica/Rachel/Ross: Yeah, I saw that one! /It was great/Good job/etc.

Joey: Thanks guys. But guess what? I think I'm going to propose to my girlfriend!

Ross: Woah! You have a girlfriend that you're serious with?

Rachel: Hey Joe you realize that when you marry someone you can't see anyone else don't you?

Joey: (sarcastically) Really Rach? Of course I know that!

Phoebe: That's great Joe! It really is! So tell us about her.

(Everyone continues to talk but Monica can only think about what's happening with her and Chandler. She remembers the day she left. It was awful.)

FLASHBACK:

(Chandler and Monica lying in bed sleeping, holding each other, both with tear stained faces, obviously from the night before. Chandler first awakes and watches Monica sleeping not wanting to wake her up so she might would miss her flight. He reads the clock: 8:30. Her flight leaves in four short hours. 'Maybe she would sleep through' Chandler thought just as Monica
stirred.)

Monica: Chandler?

Chandler: I'm right here honey.

Monica: (starting to cry again) What am I going to do when you can't say that? I'm going to miss you so much.

Chandler: (sadly touched) I don't know honey. I just don't know. We'll make it through this, we will. I promise you.

(They lay there for what seems to be seconds but in actuality are 2 and half-hours.)

Monica: (breaking the silence) Chandler, it's 11 o'clock.

Chandler: Please don't leave. Stay here. Please, for me Monica.

Monica: You know I would, but I just can't Chandler, I just can't.

Chandler: I know, You should get your stuff ready,

Monica: I packed last night. All we need to do is take a shower and leave.

Chandler: (starting to get teary) I love you.

Monica: (Already crying) I know. I love you too.

(In the background Pearl Jam "Untitled" begins to play while they hold each other.)

"Got a car. I got some gas. Oh, let's get out of here. Get out of here fast. Ah, everyone's confused so I stay in my room. If I go, I don't want to go alone. I hope you got this message. Oh, you're not home. I could be there in ten minutes, or so. Oh, I got my things. We'll make it up as we go along. Oh, with you I could never be alone. Never be alone."

Back to Present

(Monica has tears rolling down her cheeks. Everyone turns and looks at her surprised.)

Chandler: Oh Monica! What's wrong?

Monica: (startled and embarrassed b/c she didn't realize she was crying) Oh, I'm sorry. I need to go back to the house.

Chandler: Ok here. I'll walk with you back. (Monica just nods and starts off without Chandler. To everyone else.) You guys can stay here. I'll see if she's ok.

All: Ok!

(Chandler runs after Monica and catches up with her she's walking pretty fast. Chandler keeps up with her but they don't say anything to each other. Then all of the sudden Monica just sits down on a bench they have on the path. She puts her head in her hands and starts to cry.)

Monica: I'm sorry Chandler. You didn't have to come with me, you could have stayed.

Chandler: (kneels in front of her) Monica what's wrong? (She doesn't say anything.) Monica please talk to me.

Monica: I was just thinking. I just hate how I just left you four years ago. I don't know what I was thinking, and now it's all changed and.

Chandler: (Cuts her off with a kiss. Monica is still with her head in her hands and Chandler is kneeled in front of her so Chandler has to turn his  head up. Slowly and softly they kiss. After a few minutes of that-) Why don't we go back to the house, You're shivering. Here, take my coat.

Monica: Thanks. I hope I didn't ruin your birthday.

Chandler: Are you kidding me? This had been the best birthday ever.

(Hand-in-hand they walk back to his house. Not talking just enjoying being together.)

(Inside the house they sit in the kitchen. Monica sitting on the counter, Chandler standing in front of her, much like Julia Roberts and Ed Harris in "Stepmom" Talking and Chandler is cooking. Surprise, surprise but you didn't expect Rachel to do the cooking in this house did you?)

Chandler: So what do you want with this hamburger?

Monica: I just want some ice water.

Chandler: Ok. (The rest of the group walks in.) Hey guys!

All (except C & M): Hi/Hey!

Chandler: Does anyone want anything to eat?

All: (look at each other and are anxious to leave the two alone) No thanks/Not hungry/Maybe later/Sure! (Ok everyone should know who said "Sure!" Lol. Ok if you didn't it was Joey. Everyone looks at Joey except Monica and Chandler.)

Joey: Actually, We're pretty tired. We'll be going to bed now.

Chandler: All of you?

All (except Monica and Chandler): Yeah well it was a long day.

Chandler: Ok. Do you want me to show everyone where they can sleep?

Rachel: No don't worry about it. I'll show them. (Everyone walks out)

Chandler: (to Monica) What do you say to some ice-cream sundaes for dessert?

Monica: Sounds good.

Chandler: Hamburgers are done!

Monica: Ok great!

(Get the hamburgers and begin to eat.)

Chandler: So what have you been doing for the past four years?

Monica: Well lets see. My job has been fantastic and I get along with everyone very well. We got 'Restaurant of the Month' last month.

Chandler: Wow that's great!

Monica: How about you?

Chandler: Well my job is the same. I got a new corner office with my name engraved on my door and everything, (They laugh and then Chandler becomes kind of serous.) Um but there's something I need to talk to you about.

Monica: Ok.

Chandler: Well see my contract was for ten years and if you count them up, well it's been ten. Doug really wants me to renew it. But I don't know. (Takes Monica's hand) I really want to be with you again. And if you want me to go to California with you I will. I'll do anything to be with you.

Monica: Chandler.

Chandler: (cuts her off) Let me finish. I could find a job in California. It wouldn't take me long to settle in. We'd be happy. We'd be together.

Monica: Chandler I got a job in NY.

Chandler: (not hearing this right away) It'll work out and.wait, what did you just say?

Monica: (smiling) I got transferred here.

Chandler: Seriously?

Monica: Seriously.

(They both very happily wrap their arms around each other and start kissing. Chandler lays her back on the counter and purposely lays her on top of a bowl of ice cream sitting on the counter. Monica is shocked and Chandler is dying laughing.)

Monica: (Smiling) Chandler!

(Chandler is dying laughing as Monica takes a handful of ice cream and stuff it in his face. He runs up to her and holds her down and rubs his face to hers, covering hers with ice cream. It continues like this until ice cream is all over both of them. The ice-cream war ends when Monica puts more ice-cream in Chandler's face and he puts her on the kitchen floor and repeats the same thing, rubbing his face all over hers. Then their eyes meet and they go into a deep kiss and Monica starts to unbutton Chandler's shirt and vice-versa and then, well, they pretty much make in the ice cream. :) )

The Next Morning

(Joey, Rachel, Ross, and Phoebe walk into the kitchen to see Monica and Chandler in the floor covered in ice cream and a blanket. Of course a blanket, I wouldn't put Ross through that.)

Rachel: Woah!

Ross: Holy shit!

Phoebe: Aww.

(And Joey just laughs.)

Rachel: I mean wow! What would Monica say if she saw this mess?

Phoebe: It's ok guys. Look how cute they are! I'm happy for them.

Rachel: Me too. J

Ross: Yeah me too.

Joey: Should we wake them?

Rachel: No let them sleep. Come on guys let's got to the den.

Ross: Yeah really.

(They leave and as they do Chandler wakes up, first confused and then he remembers and smiles at Monica. Monica then wakes up.)

Monica: Chandler?

Chandler: I'm right here honey. (Those words brought tears to Monica's eyes.) What is it?

Monica: I'm just remembering that's what you'd always say to me when we woke up and that I would call your name every morning the past four years and no one would answer me and how that hurt so bad. And now you're here and I'm here and.

Chandler: Shhh.it's ok Mon. It's ok now, Everything's ok now. (Kisses her forehead) So now.what do you want for breakfast?

Monica: No let me fix breakfast. You fixed dinner; it's only fair.

Chandler: Ok. Wow look at us, we need a shower!

Monica: And look at our kitchen. (Realizes she said "our" and gets embarrassed and prays Chandler didn't catch it.)

Chandler: (Smiling at her) Let's go get in the shower.

Monica: (a la Courtney Cox) Ok!

(Later after all the showers and stuff. Everyone is sitting in the den watching TV Monica and Chandler's hair is still wet and they are sitting by each other hh.)

Ross: Hey by the way, that was nice how you two (talking to Chandler and Monica) just chose to sleep on the kitchen floor last night.

Chandler: Oh sorry about that. (Unsure) But you guys took up all the beds.

Rachel: Uh-huh.sure we did. (All laugh)

A Few Mins Later.

Chandler: Well I guess I better go clean up that kitchen.

Monica: Here I'll help.

Chandler: Ok.

In the Kitchen after Cleaning It

Chandler: Thanks for helping me clean our kitchen. (Smiling)

Monica: (doesn't catch it at first.did you?) No problem. Hey wait, "our kitchen"?

Chandler: (Smiling) You said it first.

Monica: (a little embarrassed) Oh so you did hear me.

Chandler: (laughing) Yeah I did. But hey if that's how you want things.

Monica: (smiling) Hey I never said.(cut of by Chandler kissing her)

Chandler: I'm moving back to the city.

Monica: Really?

Chandler: Oh yeah. Too far for me to commute much less both of us. (Smiling)

Monica: (also smiling) Well that makes sense. (Kiss again.yeah so they kiss a lot so what? They just got back together again.it's allowed.J)

Later in the Den-just Chandler and Rachel

Chandler: I think I'm moving back to the city Rach. I mean 45 minutes is a lot to commute to and from work. That's an hour and a half a day and you know how expensive gas is these days.

Rachel: No that's fine actually. It works out pretty well this way. Lauren and Austin are getting a divorce and Lauren wanted to move to the city but needed a roommate.

Chandler: Ok. Awesome. Hey we could be neighbors! (They laugh) Hey Rach I never really got to thank you for helping me out over the years. Really I don't think I would be were I am now without you,

Rachel: Hey, don't worry about it. Anytime honey. And I mean that too, if you ever need me, I'm here for you.

Chandler: And me for you. (He goes up to her and hugs her and she kinda starts to cry but he doesn't notice yet.)

Rachel: Hey and congratulations with Monica. You got her back just like you always wanted. (Tries to make a smile.)

Chandler: Aww Rachel you're crying!

Rachel: No I'm ok really.

Chandler: I know you better than that. Come on what's wrong?

Rachel: It's stupid really. It's just, I don't know, everything's so confusing. I mean you are such a great guy and I never saw it. I guess I'm trying to say Monica's really lucky to have a guy like you.

Chandler: I mean I'm not the best guy ever. I hate to clean and you know I only have nine toes, and I don't play sports or anything. (Rachel laughs a little) The guy for you has a great body and the best personality and will keep you happy forever. Trust me, he's out there. Who ever thought I'd find my soul mate? Yours is out there.

Rachel: Thanks. That really did make me feel better. (They hug again.) Ok now don't you have a girlfriend you need to go find?

Chandler: Thanks Rachel. You're the best. (And smiles at her as he walks out the door to go get Monica.)

(Monica is outside with Ross in a porch swing. Chandler walks out and sits next to Monica.)

Chandler: Ok honey, it's all set. Rachel is moving to the city also with Lauren though.

Monica: Oh that's great honey! (Peck kiss) I can't wait to move in with you! (Another peck)

Ross: Woah wait! So you're moving in with Chandler?

Monica: Yeah is that a problem?

Ross: No I just hate that I can't be with you and Ben at the same time.

Chandler: Well you could talk Carol into moving back here. It's California! They're probably sick of it. They've probably been sick of it for four years.

Monica: He has a point Ross.

Ross: Yeah I guess you're right.

Chandler: Now honey, what do you say to a special date tonight?

Monica: Ok what did you have in mind?

Chandler: Umm nope can't tell you that. It's a surprise.

Monica: Oh awesome! I love surprises!

Chandler: Ok pick you up at 7:00 tonight.

Monica: But Chandler I'm staying here.

Chandler: I know. (Smiling)

(It's 7 o'clock on the dot he's in his drop top cruising the streets, yeah, he's got a real pretty, pretty little thing that's waiting for him, he pulls up anticipating, good love don't keep you waiting. He's got plans to...ok let me stop. Am I the only one that loves that song.guess so. Ok he's not is his drop-top but it is 7 o'clock on the dot. Ok I'm officailly crazy. :) He's in a limo and he pulls up to his own house to pick Mon up. He steps out with roses and goes to the door and gets Monica.)

Monica: Why the roses, the limo, why all of this?

Chandler: What's today's date?

Monica: (thinks for a second) Oh wow. Our 6th year anniversary!

Chandler: Yep!

Monica: Oh wow! I can't believe you remembered! That's so sweet! (Kisses him hard on the mouth) I can't believe I forgot! I owe you something.

Chandler: No, no it's ok.

Monica: No I feel awful.

Chandler: Hey, don't worry about it. It's been a long time. But I did get you a little something.

Monica: Chan-

Chandler: (cuts her off) Here you go, (Hands her a long necklace box. She looks at him as to say "You didn't have to" but she opens it none-the-less. She pulls out a beautiful white gold necklace with a single heart charm dangling from it.)

Monica: Aww.it's beautiful!

Chandler: Here. (Takes the necklace from her) Let me help you put that on. (Puts it around her neck)

Monica: Thank you Chandler.

Chandler: Oh, you're welcome.

Monica: And not just for the necklace. Also for waiting for me. That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me.

(Without saying anything, Chandler pulls her into a kiss and then they walk down the sidewalk hh and he helps her inside the limo, opening the door for her. Then the happy couple leaves.)

Part 2 coming soon.

**(Ok reading back through this I guess I should explain a little bit. Well actually me and a friend were downtown Wilmington, where I live, watching them film Dawson's Creek and Pacey's dad reaches in his car to tell the dispatcher or whatever to bring a fire truck to the Icehouse. Well he reaches in and for about 5 minutes digs around in the car looking for the radio. Finally the director yells out "Where's that damn radio!" Ok we found that funny and died laughing. Maybe you did too.)
