*A CHANDLER AND MONICA WEDDING*
By Creassya

Chandler and Monica have been going out for over two years. They've been engaged for months, and
now they're about to take that long journey together...marriage. Also, this isn't related to my series.

It's the day before the wedding. Monica has been overseeing everything to make sure that her and
Chandler's special day goes perfect. She was on the phone with her wedding coordinator when
Chandler entered her and Rachel's apartment. She had her back to him so she didn't notice that he was
there until he came up behind her and started kissing on her neck. She smiled without turning around.
She reached around the back of his head and ran her fingers through his hair. Chandler then came
around to the front of the couch and sat on the table facing her. She reached over and took his hand in
hers. He smiled at her. He felt so lucky to be marrying this incredibly gorgeous woman sitting in front
of him. He sat on the couch next to her and leaned in to kiss her. The kiss lasted for 5 seconds. She
told her coordinator that she would call her back later.

"So, are you ready to marry me tomorrow?" Chandler asked gazing into her eyes.

"More than anything." She answered touching his face.

"Good."

"Okay, can I ask you a question?" She asked smiling.

"Yeah sure."

"I know we agreed on surprise vowels, but if you give me just a little of what you wrote, I'll give you a
little of what I wrote." She said excited.

"Mon honey, once again, the answer is no." He said kissing her cheek.

"Come on sweetie." She pleaded.

"No, no, no." He said smiling.

"Oh my God!" You haven't written your vowels yet."

"Why would you think that?" He asked.

"Because you won't tell me what you're gonna say."

"Honey, we agreed that we would be surprised. You'll find out what I have to say tomorrow at 4pm."

"Chandler, I can't wait that long!"

"You don't have a choice. So, the rehearsal's at eight tonight right?" He asked trying to change the
subject.

"Yes. She said crossing her arms.

Chandler was glad that she decided to give up asking him about the vowels. He had written the vowels
but when he read them aloud to himself, none of what he wrote on paper truly expressed the way he
felt about her. He was never really good at expressing himself, so when he agreed to them writing their
own vowels, it seemed like a good idea until he began to write. He wanted his vowels to come from
the heart. He read them over and over again. He didn't like what he wrote, so he threw the paper in the
trash. He decided that he would say whatever came to his head. He knew that once he saw her in her
wedding dress, whatever he felt at that time, that's what he would say.

Later that night, Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel were sitting on the couch talking, when Chandler enters
Monica and Rachel's apartment.

"Chandler, what are you doing here?" Phoebe asked.

"I just wanted to see my fiancée." Chandler said smiling at Monica.

"Yeah, Pheebs, it's not like the wedding is today." Rachel said.

Phoebe and Rachel got up and went across the hall so that Chandler and Monica could have some
privacy.

"Hey there gorgeous." Monica said smiling.

"You ready for tomorrow?" He asked walking over to the couch.

"Yeah, you?" She asked.

"We can get married right now if you want." He said jokingly.

"You're stuck with me after tomorrow." She said caressing his face.

"You're stuck with me too."

He leans in and softly kisses her. When they pull apart, they gaze at each other.

"Are you nervous yet?" She asked.

"No, are you?"

"No."

"Well, it is getting late, and we have a big day ahead of us. I'm still trying to recover from my bachelor
party they threw me the other night."

"Yeah, me too. I still can't believe they threw me a bachelorette party. I already had a bridal shower."

"I guess that was Phoebe and Rachel's way of surprising you."

Five minutes later Phoebe and Rachel came back in while Chandler and Monica were kissing.

"Okay, break it up you two." Phoebe said.

"That's right. You'll both have the rest of your lives for this. Time to go Chandler." Rachel said.

"Okay." He said walking to the door.

Chandler gets to the door and smiles at Monica. She goes over to him and kisses him gently on the lips.

"I'll see you tomorrow. I love you." Chandler said stroking her hair.

"I love you too."

Chandler leaves and Monica stands with her back to the door and sighs happily. Phoebe and Rachel
look at each other and smile.

Chandler was staying at the Plaza Hotel with Joey and Ross for the night. They didn't want to take the
chance of them seeing each other before the wedding. Joey and Ross shared a room, but Chandler had
a room to himself.

The next day Rachel came into Monica's room to wake her up.

"Mon, wake up. You're getting married today." Rachel said.

Monica slowly opens her eyes then jumps up.

"Oh My God! I'm getting married today!" She said panicking.

"Monica, calm down. It's only 9am. You don't get married until 4."

"The wedding is seven hours from now, and I'm already nervous."

"You'll be fine." Rachel said trying to calm her.

Joey and Ross are in Chandler 's room at the Plaza Hotel. They've been listening to him go on and on
about not having his vowels written.

"Chandler, would you calm down." Joey said.

"That's easy for you to say. You're not the one getting married. She's gonna kill me. I'm gonna look
stupid standing there in front of God and everyone we know when the minister goes, Now Chandler
and Monica will now recite their vowels, and I have nothing to say."

"Chandler, how do you feel about Monica?" Ross asked.

"I love her."

"Just think about how much you love her and adore her and the words will just come to you." Joey
said.

"Yeah, he's right Chandler."

"So you think I should just wing it?"

"Yeah. What other choice do you have?" Ross asked.

It's two hours before the wedding. Monica's parents are at her and Rachel's apartment.
Judy is in Monica's room helping her get dressed, along with Phoebe and Rachel.

"Monica you have to calm down sweetie." Rachel said kneeling in front of her.

"I'm so nervous. My mouth is completely dry."

"I'll go get you some water." Phoebe said leaving the room.

"Monica, you're going to look so beautiful in this dress." Judy said taking the dress off the hanger and
sitting it on the bed.

Both Rachel and Monica look at her in shock. They've never heard Judy pay Monica a compliment
like that.

"Really?"

"Of course. Why are you so surprised that I said that?" Judy asked looking from Monica to Rachel.

"Thanks Mom." She said going over and hugging her mother.

"Here's the water." Phoebe said coming back into the room.

"All right. You drink that water so I can do your makeup and you can go to the bathroom." Rachel
said.

"I don't have to use the bathroom."

"You will after you drink that water. Now hurry up!" Rachel said.

"Well, it seems that I have two moms today."

Judy and Rachel smile at each other seeing that Monica had calmed down a bit. Judy's compliment put
her at ease. She had no doubt in her mind that Chandler was the person she should marry, but earlier
she was thinking about what if it didn't work out. She knew that it was just pre wedding jitters. Judy
seemed to be fine about Chandler and Monica getting married. Thinking about that helped Monica
relax even more.

Chandler is at the Waldoff Astoria (Expensive NY Hotel). He's pacing back and forth. He was so
nervous. Joey and Ross come in and looked at him. They were worried about him. They were thinking
that he might be having second thoughts, but he was worried about not having his vowels written.

"Chandler, are you all right?" Ross asked.

"Yeah, you still want to marry Monica right?" Joey asked.

"Yeah, of course I do. I just don't know what to say."

"About what?" Joey asked clueless.

"The vowels!"

"Chandler, I thought we already settled this." Ross said.

"I thought so too." He said sitting down.

Chandler buries his face in his hands. Nora comes in and notices that Chandler is stressing about
something. Joey and Ross leave.

"Chandler, what's wrong?"

"I don't have my vowels written."

"Oh, is that all?"

Chandler looks up at his Mom in disbelief.

"What do mean is that all?"

"Chandler, do you love Monica?"

"Yes, with all my heart."

"Then just say what you feel. You told me yourself that when you express yourself to her the words
aren't eloquently said, but she's usually touched because it's from you and it's from the heart. You don't
have to worry about it sounding perfect, or impressing all those people downstairs. What matters is
that you tell her exactly what your feeling and mean it. Be spontaneous.

Chandler thought about what his Mom had just said, and it made sense. He suddenly felt calmer, and
was ready to get married.

An hour later Monica was dressed. Judy, Phoebe, and Rachel, stood by the door looking at her and
smiling. She was absolutely gorgeous. Jack was in the living room waiting for Monica to come out.
Phoebe and Rachel came out into the living room smiling. Then Judy came out.

"Jack she's gorgeous."

Monica opens the door to her room and stands in the doorway. Jack gets up and smiles.

"My little Harmonica." He said going over and hugging her.

"Isn't she gorgeous." Judy said again.

"I always knew you would make a beautiful bride." He said.

"Thanks dad."

Monica's wedding dress was satin with small diamonds around the waistline. The shoulders hung low
around her arms like Rachel's dress in (TOW The Wedding Dresses). The back was low cut into a V
shape with diamonds, and the dress flared out around her. Her hair was in a bun that sat in the middle
of her head and was visible through the veil which sat at the top of her head and hung towards the
back of her head. She also had small diamond earrings in her ears that matched the dress. Something
new from her mother. Her make up was subtle and flawless. She looked like a princess.

An hour later and right on schedule (Monica wouldn't have any other way) Chandler was waiting for
her at the alter, along with Phoebe, Rachel, Ross, and Joey. Before the doors were opened to reveal
the bride, Jack wanted to say something to her.

"I'm so proud of you Monica. Chandler's a good man."

"Thanks dad. It means a lot."

Chandler is at the alter anxiously awaiting the arrival of his soon to be bride. Suddenly the doors open
up and the music 'Here Comes The Bride' is being played on the organ by the musician. Everyone rises
for the Bride coming down the aisle with her father. She smiles as the photographer snaps photos of
her. Chandler couldn't believe how incredible she looked. She looked at him as she was approaching
the alter. All of sudden Chandler was filled with all these emotions. It was overpowering. He was no
longer worried about what he wanted to say to Monica. When she finally reached him at the alter, the
minister asked who gives this woman to this man, Jack answered and sat down.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today, to join this man and this woman, in holy matrimony.
God has a purpose in life, and that's to be happy and live a long life. These two have chosen to take
that purpose in life by honoring their love for one another on this beautiful day. Chandler and Monica
will now recite their own vowels." Said the Minister.

"Monica, to be honest with you, I didn't know what I wanted to say to you until I saw you walking
down that aisle. I had at all planned out. Every word. Then I realized that what I want to say to you
has to come from my heart. He said with tears in his eyes. I love you with all my heart Monica. You're
everything I want in a woman, and a wife. You've touched so many things in me. You've helped me
grow in a way I never thought possible. You're my rock, my bestfriend, and my soulmate for life.
You've made me the happiest man in the world when you agreed to marry me. Said Chandler kissing
her hand gently. I feel so lucky to be standing here, with your hands in mine in front of all of friends
and family committing myself to the woman who means more to me than anything in the world. I love
everything about you. I love how passionate you are about everything, how much you care for your
family and friends, even your compulsive ways. Most of all I love the way you love me. All of me. So
from this day forward I pledge my eternal love and devotion to you." He said with tears in his eyes
caressing her hands.

"Chandler, I love you so much. Said Monica crying. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me.
The moment I first kissed your lips, I knew that you were the one. You were always there when I
needed a shoulder to cry on no matter what. I don't know how I got along without you before you
came into my life. There were so many times where you held me in your arms until I stopped crying,
and we were only friends then. And you say that your the lucky one, but I think I that I'm the lucky
one. You hold me in your arms when I need to be held, you're there when I need someone to listen,
when I need to cry, you provide a shoulder, when I felt that I would die alone, you assured me that
you would be there with me for the rest of my life. You didn't leave me side. Now I won't leave yours.
I want to make you as happy as you've made me, and from this day forward I will love, honor, and
cherish you for the rest of my life." She said leaning in and kissing him softly on the lips.

Everyone clapped when they gently kissed each other. There wasn't a dry eye in the place.

Once they were done reciting their vowels to one another, they exchanged rings and the minister
pronounced them to be husband and wife. Before he got the chance to tell Chandler to kiss the bride,
he leaned in and passionately kissed his new wife. Everyone clapped and rose to their feet.

"I present to you, Mr. And Mrs. Chandler Bing." Said the minister.

Once they were done greeting all their guest and taking pictures, they rode off in a horse and carriage.

Off to the reception.......

An hour into the reception, everyone was seated at their tables. They were about to watch a storybook
video of Chandler and Monica that was taped a week before the wedding. While the video is playing,
in the background, the song Thank God I Found You is playing, by Mariah Carey. In the video
everyone's watching Chandler and Monica on the beach holding hands and kissing. Then you see
Chandler carrying Monica on his back, and then her carrying him on her back. When they're done
playing around they sit in the sand watching the sunset. There's also scenes of them in her apartment
where she's feeding him at the kitchen table while she's on his lap. Also they're at his and Joey's
apartment. She's sitting on the counter and he comes over and kisses her really sweetly on the mouth.
There's another scene of them in Central Park having a picnic. When they're done eating Monica
snuggles up to him with her sitting between his legs on a blanket with her back to him and his arms
around her, and the scene in the video fades out. In cursive letters across the screen it says,
CONGRATULATIONS CHANDLER AND MONICA, MAY YOU LIVE A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE
TOGETHER.

Nora and Judy were crying. After the video it was announced that Chandler and Monica would now
have their first dance as husband and wife. The lights were dim and on the dance floor and the walls
you could see little circles of light from the mirrored ball that hung from the ceiling. Chandler and
Monica stand at opposite ends of the floor and slowly inch their way to each other when the music
starts to play. They pull close to one another and slow dance to the song, (Everything I Do) I Do It For
You, By Brandy. (I don't know who originally sang this song, before she did a remake, but you
probably know it....

Everything I Do

Look into my eyes
You will see, what you mean to me
Search your heart, search your soul
When you find me, then you'll search no more

Don't tell me it's not worth trying for
You can't tell me it's not worth dying for
You know it's true, everything I do I do it for you

Look into your heart, you will find
There's is nothing there to hide
Take me as I am, take my life
I would give it all, I would sacrifice

Don't tell me it's not worth fighting for
I can't help it, there's nothing I want more
You know it's true, everything I do I do it for you

There is no love, like your love
And no other, could give me more love
There's nowhere, unless you're there
All the time, all the way

You can't tell me it's not worth trying for
I just can't help it, there is nothing I want more
I would fight for you, I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you, yeah I'd die for you

You know it's true
Everything I do
I do it for you

When the song ended they kissed and hugged each other knowing the song had special meaning to
them. The song represented their love for each other. When Chandler finally left Monica's side, Judy
went over to her.

"Monica I just have to tell you how proud I am of you."

"Really?" She asked with tears in her eyes.

"Yes, I am. You've done well for yourself. He's the one." Said Judy.

Monica smiles through her tears and hugged her. Getting her mother's approval was something she
always wanted.

"I don't think I could have gotten through this day without you Mom."

"Really?"

"Really."

Monica stood with her back to all the single women getting ready to throw the bouquet. When she
throws it, Phoebe catches it and all the other women attack her. She managed to hold on to half of the
bouquet while the other half of it rests on the floor.

Chandler now has his back to all the single men. He threw the guarder and Joey, of all people catches
it. Chandler laughed at Joey then they hugged. Once everybody settled down, Phoebe was seated in a
chair in the middle of the floor, and Joey placed the guarder up her thigh while the photographer took
pictures.

Once Chandler and Monica were ready to leave they thanked everybody for coming to help celebrate
the most important day of their lives and told them to have fun. The party continued as they rode off
in the limo taking them to the airport where they would fly off to their honeymoon in Jamaica.

CONGRATULATIONS CHANDLER AND MONICA,
WE HOPE THAT THE TWO OF YOU WILL LIVE HAPPILY
EVER AFTER....
