  [Monica and Rachel’s apt.]

  {Rachel and Phoebe are there}

Rachel: hey Pheebs I’m sorry for saying that you were crazy about that thing with Chandler and Monica.
Phoebe: oh that’s okay lot’s of people think I’m crazy

  (Rachel and Phoebe hug)

  (Monica comes out of her room)

Rachel: good morning Mrs. Chandler Bing
Phoebe: (singing with the tune of the wedding march) ~ here comes the bride ~ with a baby inside ~
Monica: (yawning) hi guys
Phoebe: how are you feeling
Monica: a little queasy
Rachel: oh that’ll pass. So have you heard from Chandler or did Ross catch up to him

 (Just as she says that Chandler comes out of Monica’s room)

Rachel: never mind

 (Chandler goes and hugs Monica)
Chandler: (gives Mon a little kiss) good morning honey
Monica: good morning, so you ready for today?
Rachel: ready for what?
Monica: Chandler, Ross, and I are having lunch with my parents today
Rachel: (sarcastically) now THAT’S a good idea. To have Chandler and Ross in the same room let alone the same zip code
Phoebe: so you’re gonna tell your parents that you’re getting married and that you’re pregnant
Monica: yeah that’s the plan but I’m kinda nervous though
Chandler: don’t worry it’ll be okay (gives Monica a kiss on the forehead)

 (Joey enters)

Joey: hi guys. Hey Chan, Ross called, he left about fifty death threats for you
Chandler: this should make lunch much more fun
Monica: come on let’s get ready to go honey

 (Chandler goes to his apt. and Monica goes to her room)

  [About an hour later]

Chandler: (entering) come on let’s go
Monica: (coming out of the bathroom) okay okay hold on I’m coming

 (They start to leave)

Rachel: oh Chandler where do you want your ashes spread after the funeral tomorrow?
Chandler: (as he shuts the door behind him) ha ha ha ha not funny

  (He closes the door)

 [Chandler and Monica in a taxi]

Chandler: so when do we tell them before or after lunch
Monica: um… how about before
Chandler: yeah ‘cause it’ll be so much easier to run from your dad and brother on an empty stomach
Monica: actually I know just how to bring it up

 [They are at a nice restaurant]
 {Ross is already there with Jack and Judy}
 (Chandler and Monica come in and sit down)

Judy: (to Monica) when you said you were bringing a friend I thought it was Rachel or that BeBe girl or a new boyfriend
Monica: it’s Phoebe, and no I didn’t I brought Chandler
Judy: (not interested) whatever
Ross: (trying to be civilized) hello Chandler
Chandler: (keeping a distanced) uh… hi

 {At the table Judy is sitting next to Jack on one side. Chandler and Monica are together on the other side. (Chandler is away from Ross) and Ross is at the head}

Jack: how’s my little harmonica doing you sounded a little sick on the phone
Monica: I’m fine dad, couldn’t be better
Judy: so Monica your birthday is coming up have you thought any more about settling down or anything
Monica: (yelling) mom I’m only turning 31! (Almost normal) sorry and yes I have thought about settling down and raising a family
Judy: it’s about time but wouldn’t you need a boyfriend first at least (under her breath) if you could hold on to one
Monica: yeah, yeah I would but I don’t
Judy: you see
Monica: mom I don’t have a boyfriend I…
Ross: (interrupting) you know can we talk about something else
Monica: I’ll be right back (goes to the bathroom)
Judy: what’s wrong with her
Chandler: I’m sure she’ll be fine

 [Cut to Monica and Rachel’s apt.]

 {Joey, Phoebe, and Rachel are there}
Rachel: I wonder if Chandler is still living
Phoebe: yeah why can’t Ross just let it go
Joey: I think it’s because he’s her older brother and he feels protective of her
Rachel: yeah I understand that but why can’t he just be happy for her
Joey: I don’t know I mean if Monica were my sister I would be happy that she found someone so right for her

 [Back to the restaurant]

 {Monica has now returned}

Monica: hey mom, dad I have some news
Ross: (interrupting) hey did you guys see my on the news the other day
Jack/Judy: no
Ross: well I…
Monica: (interrupting and yelling) mom, dad I’m getting married and I’m pregnant
Judy: huh?
Jack: our little harmonica is getting married
Judy: you just said you weren’t going out with anyone. Do we know him? He is a he right
Monica: of course he’s a he and yes you know him
Jack: well who is he

 (Chandler and Monica put their hands together on the table)

Judy/Jack: oh great, yeah, etc.
Ross: (under his breath) yeah just great
Judy: Ross did you know about this
Ross: I didn’t even know they were going out until yesterday when Chandler proposed
Jack: (whispering to Judy) I thought he was gay
Monica: well mom unless you want to torment me about anything else, we’re gonna go

 (Chandler and Monica start to walk off)

Judy: wait (they stop) I’m truly happy for you both (give Mon a hug)
Monica: thanks mom (hugs Jack) thanks dad

 [cut to hallway]

Chandler: wow your parents took it better than Ross did
Monica: of course, my mom has been bugging me to get married since I was two
 

 (Chandler gives a little chuckle then they go into Monica and Rachel’s apt)

Rachel: oh hi how did it go
Monica: better then we thought it would
Rachel: good, are you feeling any better
Monica: yeah kinda
Chandler: I’ll be right back (he leaves)
Rachel: oh my god I just thought of this where are you guys gonna live
Joey: yeah you can’t be married and live across the hall from each other
Monica: wow you know I never thought of that
Phoebe: but if you move you can’t move too far or we’ll never see you

 (Chandler returns holding something)

Chandler: hi I’m… (notices everyone’s worried faces) wondering what’s wrong
Rachel: we’re just talking about where are you guys going to live
Chandler: gee I don’t know, ‘cause we can’t raise a baby living in two different apartments. Don’t worry we’ll figure it out
Monica: what are you holding
Chandler: oh here where do you want to go to celebrate our engagement (puts some brochures on the table)

 (Monica looks them over)

Chandler: (pointing) the place that we went that one weekend when Joey found out about us (Joey is grinning) or a romantic get-away in…
Monica: (interrupting) oh wow Hawaii!
Chandler: yeah or where it all started in London
Rachel: oh that’s so romantic
Phoebe: that’s so cute too
Monica: we don’t have to go anywhere special to celebrate
Chandler: I know but I want to so which one
Monica: okay I pick Hawaii
Chandler: so Hawaii it is

 (Ross walks in and Chandler bolts to the other side of the apartment)

Ross: I just wanted to say I’m sorry for the way I’ve been acting. It’s just this was all a big shock you know
Chandler: that’s okay man. So are we cool now
Ross: yeah we’re cool (they do a “manly” hug) dude we’re gonna be brothers
Chandler: yeah we are that’s so cool!
Rachel: (to Chandler and Monica) this is so great you’re gonna get married, have a baby and go to Hawaii
Phoebe: (pointing to Mon’s tummy) there’s a little Chandler or Monica jr. in there
Joey: so have you guys thought of any names yet
Monica: not really but if it’s a girl I like Gale
Chandler: I like Shannen
Joey: I really like Yazmine
Rachel: shut up Joey
Chandler: for a boy I’ve always liked Michael
Monica: I don’t know I’m not really to fond of Michael, what about David
Ross: ooh I like David
Joey: I really like Yazmine
Rachel: Joey that’s not a boy’s name
Joey: who said anything about names
Rachel: you’re pathetic
Joey: (sad) yeah I know

  *{Author’s note okay I know that whole name thing was pretty sad the way the names connect with the characters. If you don’t know how here – Courteney Cox (Monica) play Gale Weathers in the movies Scream and Scream 2 – Mathew Perry (Chandler) was recently in a relationship with Shannen Dorighty (I don’t know haw to spell it and I don’t know if the relationship is still going) – again for Courteney Cox and the name Michael well she and Michael Kenton had a six year relationship before she met David Aqurette (a reason for her to like that name) – as for Ross liking that name is because Ross Geller is played by David Schwimmer}*
 

   [Doctor’s office]
   {Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe are there}
 

Doctor: okay Monica let’s get you on the table
Monica: okay (as she gets on the table)
Rachel: don’t worry hon it’s gonna be just fine
Phoebe: yeah it’s easy just sit there

  (The doctor does the sonogram thing and you can see it on the little monitor)

Doctor: can you see that (points to the screen)
Monica: oh my God that’s the heartbeat
Rachel: it sounds really fast
Doctor: that’s because… wait a minute
Monica: (all of a sudden overly worried) what… oh my god what’s… what’s wrong
Doctor: calm down nothing is wrong don’t worry. Can you see this (points to the screen again)
Monica: yeah that’s the heartbeat
Doctor: now look over here (points to the other side of the screen)
Monica: that’s… that’s… twins! I’m having twins!!!
Rachel: oh my God that’s great! (hugging Monica)
Phoebe: that’s is so great now you get two babies!
Doctor: that’s what twins are
Phoebe: yeah I know I just had my brother’s triplets

 (the doctor looks at her funny)

  [the hallway between the apts.]
Rachel: (to Monica) so are you gonna tell Chandler now?
Monica: should I?
Phoebe: if you don’t I’m guessing he’ll figure out when you give birth to two babies
Monica: I know that, but should I tell him right away
Rachel: you should soon
Monica: okay but tonight

  (they walk into Monica and Rachel’s apt)

Chandler: (jumps up) surprise! Look I got all this stuff for the baby (points  to the bags of stuff)
Monica: oh you’re so sweet (she goes and kisses him)
Rachel: (under her breath) you’re gonna need to buy twice as much
Chandler: what?
Rachel: huh oh um… nothing
Monica: (whispering to Rachel) Rachel shut up
Chandler: what’s going on
Monica: nothing I’ll tell you later. How about we go out to dinner tonight, you know someplace nice
Chandler: that’s just what I was thinking
Phoebe: aw you guys are so meant for each other
Rachel: that’s what you said about me and Ross and look what happened to us
Monica: (worried) what?
Rachel: well when Ross and me were to… (Notices Monica’s expression) nothing I didn’t say anything at all
Monica: (even more worried) yes, yes you did. You’re afraid we’re gonna end up like you and Ross
Chandler: we’re not gonna end up like them ever
Monica: (almost in tears) how are you so sure, huh? How are you so sure
Phoebe: you guys are actually sharing an aura when they were together they’re auras clashed
Rachel: well now is a hell of a time to tell me and what’s up with all that lobster crap
Phoebe: well I do believe that someday you and Ross will end up together just not now
Rachel: you know what I’m tired of all this relationship stuff I’m going to my room (she leaves)
All: bye, see ya, etc.
Monica: it’s obvious that she still loves him
Chandler: I know
Phoebe: wow all four of you gonna make such a great family

 (Behind Chandler’s back Monica is motioning Phoebe to stop talking but it’s too late)

Chandler: what do you mean four?
Phoebe: nothing. I… uh just remembered to be… well not here (leaves in a hurry)
Chandler: okay bye Pheebs
Monica: bye
Phoebe: bye
Chandler: (after she leaves) okay what did she mean by four?
Monica: um… I was going to tell you tonight at dinner by I guess I’ll do it now
Chandler: what is it
Monica: I’m…

  [Cut to Joey and Chandler’s apt]

Phoebe: …having twins!
Joey: Monica’s having twins that’s great! (He thinks) that’s two babies right
Phoebe: yeah. I know it’s great ooh but you can’t tell Chandler because he doesn’t know yet and Monica is going to tell him tonight
Joey: sure more secrets, why is it always me
Phoebe: what are you talking about
Joey: everyone always chooses me to tell secrets to
Phoebe: (not really getting it) oh

 (They hear a ‘thud’ coming for Monica and Rachel’s)
 [Monica and Rachel’s apt]
 {Joey and Phoebe come running in (Chandler is on the ground)}

Joey: (noticing Chandler) so you told him about the twins I’m guessing
Monica: (sarcastic) gee how’d ya know (goes to Chandler)
Phoebe: he doesn’t take good news to well does he
