This takes place after Strong Feelings. The gang is in California. While there, Chandler and Monica's feelings has become more intense. They both decided that putting their
feelings away for each other wasn't working anymore. After Chandler kissed Monica on the deck, he told her that he loved her. She was so surprised that she couldn't say anything.
When he was about to go back in the house, she told him that she loved him back. Let's see where they go from here......

Chandler was dreaming about Monica, but he couldn't understand what the dream was about. He kept hearing her calling his name. He then realized that her calling his
name was real. She was in his and Ross's room sitting on the edge of the bed. When he opened his eyes, he saw the most gorgeous face he'd ever seen.

"I thought you were dead for a minute." Monica said.

"What time is it?" Chandler asked.

"It's 10:100."

He laid there staring at her.

"Wait here."

"Why?"

"I just have to brush my teeth." Chandler said getting up.

When he returned to the room, he wasn't expecting her to still be there, but he was glad that she stayed. He walked over to the bed and laid on his back.

"Are you getting up today?" Monica asked with a smile.

"Yeah. I'm just gonna lay here for a while."

"So, what's up?"

"This."

He put his hands to her face and pulled her toward him for a kiss. He didn't know what it was, but it was like time stood still when they kissed. Nothing else mattered. They
kissed for five minutes. The kiss was getting so good that Monica slowly climbed on top of Chandler. He was a little surprised, but didn't show it. Instead, he held her
tightly in his arms. He loved the way Monica kissed him. She was so sweet and passionate. She felt so good to hold and to kiss. Monica broke the kiss and began
sucking on his neck.

Chandler closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of her body on top of his, and her lips against his neck. She then moved her lips from his neck to his ear. He felt as if he were
in heaven. A few seconds later, Monica took her tongue out of his ear. She raised her head to look at him and she smiled.

"Mon, hold on."

He got up off the bed to lock the door. When he returned to the bed, he climbed on top of her. She opened her legs, and Chandler began to touch her all over her body. He
started moving around as they kissed. She started unbuttoning his flannel shirt. While she was busy unbuttoning his shirt, he began to unbutton hers. Once her shirt was
unbuttoned, he slid his hands behind her back, and unhooked her bra. He removed his mouth from Monica's and started kissing and sucking on her breast. He sucked on
them for five minutes before he lowered himself down to her stomach. Before he got any further, he realized that this wasn't right. He suddenly remembered the
conversation they had on the phone one night about her still being a virgin. He really wanted her first time with him to be special.

"What's wrong?" Monica asked as he laid on top of her.

He rose his head to look at her.

"Mon, this isn't right. You're a virgin right?"

"Yeah."

"I want your first time to be special. I mean think about it. We're in a house full of people, including your brother, and we could get interrupted."

"That's true."

He then laid his head against her neck.

"Believe me, I want this so bad, but I want it to be right."

"I love you Chandler." She said caressing his hair.

"I love you Mon. I love you." He said softly.

Later that day, everyone was getting ready for the engagement party. Monica had gotten in the shower after Rachel, who was already dressed, along with Phoebe. Her
mind kept racing back to the earlier part of the day when she and Chandler had come so close to having sex. The gang had gone out with Mary Therese. Monica didn't
want to go, and Chandler was still asleep. She couldn't believe that she had actually climbed on top of him. She didn't even think before she did it. The whole time she was
showering, she couldn't stop smiling.

There was a bathroom in their room that was quite large. She wished that she could stay in there a little longer, but she was already rushing to get dressed. She came out
of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. Rachel and Phoebe were no longer in the room. Seconds after she came from the bathroom, Chandler came in and shut the door.

"I thought you'd be dressed by now."

"Is everybody ready?"

"Yeah, except for Mary Therese."

"Great." Monica said sarcastically.

"You look good in a towel."

"You look good no matter what you wear." Monica flirted back.

Chandler walked over to her and they kissed. He held her tightly around her waist as she touched his face. After a few seconds, he had to force himself to break the kiss.

"Well, I'd better get out of here before they start to suspect something."

"All right. I'll be out in a minute."

When Chandler reached the door, he looked back at Monica and smiled. She smiled back and he left the room.

Everyone was sitting in the living room with the exception of Monica. Mary Therese had just come out of her room and was ready to go. A minute later, Monica walked into
the living room. Everyone commented on how pretty she looked except for Chandler. He was speechless. She was wearing a silver knee length dress with thick straps and
silver sandals. When Chandler was in her room after she'd gotten out of the shower, he couldn't tell how she had her hair because she had a shower cap on. She stood
there gazing at him. He thought that she looked incredibly gorgeous dressed in silver with her hair curly. He wished that no one was in the room. He had the urge to go
over and kiss her.

"Okay, let's go." Jerry said.

An hour later while Monica was getting something to drink, Chandler walked up behind her.

"You look so gorgeous." He whispered in her ear.

When he whispered that comment into her ear, she grew warm all over and began nervous. She turned around and smiled at him.

"So do you." She said touching his face.

They didn't know it, but Phoebe and Rachel were watching Chandler and Monica from across the room.

"I wish they would just get together and stop playing." Phoebe said.

"I know. They flirt all the time. I don't know what the problem is."

"What are you two over here gossiping about?" Joey asked and he and Ross came and sat at the table with them.

"None of your business." Rachel said.

"Come on Rach. You know you wanna tell." Ross said taunting her.

"Be strong Rachel." Phoebe said.

"It's just between us girls." Rachel said smiling.

"Fine." Ross said.

When a slow song came on, they all noticed Chandler and Monica in each other's arms dancing along with the other couples on the floor. Monica's head was against
Chandler's shoulder and he was caressing her back. Phoebe and Rachel looked at each other and smiled.

"All right Chandler!" Joey said.

When Ross shot at look at Joey, his smile faded.

"Oh sorry man. You probably with them huh?"

"Nah."

"Really?" Phoebe asked surprised.

"Why should I have a problem with them being together? He's a good friend to her and he really looks out for her. I don't mind."

"Look at them. They're so cute!" Rachel said.

When the song ended they walked over to the gang. As they made their way over to them, they noticed that they all had smiles on their faces.

"What's going on?" Monica asked.

"Yeah, what is going on?" Phoebe asked raising an eyebrow.

"What?" Chandler asked.

"Come on, don't play dumb. We can see that something's going on with you two." Rachel said.

Chandler and Monica looked at each other and smiled.

"So?" Joey said.

"You're right Rach." Monica said.

"It's about time." Phoebe and Rachel said.

Chandler and Monica sat down to join the gang at the table. They were all having a good time, especially Chandler and Monica. They were holding hands underneath the
table. They noticed the gang staring at them.

"What?" Chandler asked.

"Dude!" Joey said.

"What?"

"He's just happy you guys are finally together like the rest of us are." Phoebe said.

Chandler and Monica both looked at each other and smiled. They were happy to finally be together too. A couple hours into the party, Joey and a few of his sisters, stood
up in front of everyone and wished Mary Therese and Jerry a happy and long lasting marriage. After the toast, Joey found a girl to dance with and spend the rest of the
party with her. Chandler couldn't wait to go back to the house. He was having a good time, but he wanted to spend some time alone with Monica. The whole night, he had
to force himself to take his eyes off her.

When they were back at the house, Phoebe and Rachel wanted to know what made Chandler and Monica finally get together.

"Come Mon, we're getting old over here." Phoebe said.

"Well, it happened last night. I was outside on the deck when Chandler and guys came back. He stayed outside with me for a little while and we got to talking, and he
walked closer to me...

"And? Get to the juicy stuff." Phoebe interrupted.

"I will if you let me."

"Yeah Phoebe, shhhhh."

"Anyway, he didn't plan on staying outside, so he said that he was going in and he gave me a hug. After the hug, he leaned his forehead against mine and told me that he
wanted to kiss me."

"And?" Rachel said.

"Now look who's interrupting." Phoebe said rolling her eyes.

"So, he put his hands to my face and we kissed."

"Awwww." Phoebe and Rachel said.

"He told me he loved me."

"Really?" Rachel asked.

"What did you say?"

"I said it back."

"Awww." They said again.

They were about to ask her for more details, but there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" Monica asked.

"Chandler."

Phoebe and Rachel smiled as Monica got up to open the door. When she opened the door, Chandler had a serious look on his face. Monica's smiled faded and she
became worried all of a sudden.

"Guys, I'll be back."

"Okay, but don't do anything I wouldn't do." Rachel said.

"Or would." Phoebe said laughing.

Monica left with Chandler, leaving Phoebe and Rachel in the room giggling.

Once they were alone in the back of the house near the pool, he stood Monica in front of him with his hands at her waist.

"Chandler, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." He said with a grin of his face.

"Are you sure. You looked so serious when I opened the door."

"I know. It was just to get you alone."

Monica closed her eyes and sighed.

"You scared me."

"How?"

"I thought maybe you were gonna tell me that we shouldn't be together or something."

"Mon, are you crazy? I've been wanting to be with you for the longest."

Monica touched his face.

"I over react a lot don't I?"

"I wouldn't say a lot, just most of the time."

"Very funny Chandler." Monica said sarcastically.

"Thanks."

"Chandler, aren't you scared?"

"Of what?"

"Of us."

"Of course I am."

"I thought I was the only one."

"No."

"Chandler, I really have respect for you for not....y'know."

"Oh, you mean this morning?"

"Yeah."

"We came so close."

"I know."

"You have no idea how bad I wanted to though."

"I have a pretty good idea."

"I just want it to be just us, when we do have sex. Not with a house full of people."

Monica gazed into Chandler's eyes and they kissed. He held her close to him, not wanting to let her go. Monica broke the kiss and smiled at him.

"I love these soft lips." She said.

"I've grown quite fond of them myself."

Monica laughed and put her head against his shoulder. He held her tightly and caressed her hair. He smiled to himself thinking how good it felt to finally be Monica's
boyfriend. Things were now as it should be.
